Booking a Trip/Availability
On The Fly Guide Service has been serving anglers from all over the United States for the past 11 years. All of our trips are designed to fit your individual wants and needs. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner looking for a guide to show you the ropes before you make the plunge into fly fishing, a seasoned veteran looking to see all of those "other" off the beaten track destinations or specific hatches, or someone traveling in from out of the area, we can help.
Anglers have had the opportunity to fish all major dry fly hatches: midges, baetis, Dark Hendricksons, caddis, Light Hendricksons, tricos, pseudocloens, the rare white mayfly, and even the yellow crane fly. Clients have also been turned on to the successes of nymph fishing, terrestrial fishing, and streamer fishing for large browns, rainbows, and brook trout that inhabit our area streams, as well as some of the area's better smallmouth waters. Whatever you are looking for, On The Fly can provide it for you.

2008 Rates
Rates (one angler) - $225: Each trip includes transportation to and from the Rochester area. A typical day includes an outing in the morning hours with a break for lunch (often that means we fire up a portable grill for some hot food). Then off to fish a second stream in the afternoon hours. All fly rods, reels, flies, and on the water instruction are always provided for free. Digital photos are taken while on your outing and e-mailed after the trip.
Rates (two anglers) - $400: This trip is the same as the one person trip with the exception that it's one guide for two clients instead of a one to one ratio.
Half-Day Rates (per angler) - $130: April-May 2008 (weekdays or weekends) Transportation to and from plus snacks and beverages provided. Morning to noon half days/ noon to 5:00 half days/ 3:30-dark half days.

BOOKED DATES: June 18-22; July 18-20
*A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking (cash, check, PayPal)
