Abdomen: One strand black krystal flash

Thorax: Black nymph dubbing

This pattern is a Ross Mueller creation and is an absolutely super fly throughout the year.  however, it is particularly effective in the later winter months into spring when baetis emergence starts to occur.  I typically fish it as a trailer to a larger nymph like a scud, hare's ear, etc.  It's a simple tie using the biot tail and wrapping the krystal flash over it, then using the same biot as the wing case.
