Blue Boy Hares Ear

This is a variation on what I take to be a top fly for fishing SE MN: standard hares ears.  Easy to tie and very effective.

Hook: #16 or 18

Bead: glass or plastic blue

Thread: grayish color, 8/0

Tail: fox tail fibers

Rib: small red wire

Dubbing: blues and grays with some UV/antron; this mix included some Free Range Dubbing from Singlebarbed.com

Pick out the thorax fibers to widen and give it depth
