Recipe

·        Thread: 8-0 wine

·        Hook: # 16 or 18   TMC. 2457/2487

·        Rib: fine silver wire

·        Abdomen:  Burgundy (wine) holoshimmer tinsel (“holo”)

·        Head: 2.0 mm silver tungsten bead

1.      mash barb on hook

2.      wrap thread base to bend- tie in rib and tinsel

3.      wrap tinsel, then rib

4.      Coat with “Sally Hansen” hard as nails clear nail polish to finish.

NOTES  A tailwaters guide fly from Branson and the White River trout waters of Missouri and Arkansas.  Sinks well either alone or as a point fly.  Brookies, Browns, and Rainbows take it readily in SE MN as well.
