Pheasant Tail Nymph

Tied by David Batchelor

There are many variations to this fly. The one I am submitting for the swap is very affective one during the C/R season and early regular season. I have been a faithful user of the bead head hairs ear, and was my go to fly when I couldn't catch them on anything else. In the past couple of season the PT has changed to my go to fly. There has been several times I have tried everything in the box and was ready to move on . I tied on this PT and caught fish after fish in the same hole that I tried 5 or 6 other flies. Very simple tie. Hope it works as well for you.
