Hook: TMC 3769 (#14)  

Thread: black 

Tail: brown goose biots  

Body: peacock herl  

Rib: gold or copper wire (small or medium)/ flat oval tinsel (gold)  

Beard: brown hackle (size 16)  

Wings: white goose biots tied in a "V"  

Head: gold or copper bead (optional)

Tying Instructions: Secure thread to hook and tie in brown biot tails; make sure they form a "V."  Tie in gold ribbing and let hang.  Tie in threes strands of peacock herl, twist strands together with thread to strengthen herl and wind forward.  The body should have a slight tapered effect to it; secure and trim tag.  Wrap gold tinsel forward to form a ribbed body.  Wrap hackle, dark side out, and secure.  Tie in wings, again making sure they have the "V" effect to them.  Whip finish.
