Hook: TMC5262 (#12-16).  I use standard TMC 3769 hooks as well

Thread: Black Uni-Thread 8/0 or 6/0

Weight: Lead wire

Tail: Pheasant tail fibers

Body: Black nymph dubbing

Hackle: Brown wet fly hackle

Head: Gold, silver, copper bead

Instructions:  This is a very simple tie and an easy fly to tie up in bulk quantities.  It’s originated by Wayne Bartz and is a great fly on streams with a significant stonefly population.
