Tungsten beadhead

Krystal Flash

Gold Wire Ribbing

Black Ice Dub

Pink Ice Dub

Put on the bead head

Tie a Krystal Flash tail and tie on gold wire

Use the black Ice Dub and dub a tapered body to approx 1, bead head length, behind bead head( I hope that makes sense!!)

Wind 2-3 wraps of the gold wire over black body, trim excess

Dub the remaining space with the pink ice dub…whip finish

This pattern consistently catches fish for me year round. I have probably become too dependent on it, however, it is a quick, easy tie for me and the fish don’t seem to care. 1 or 2 winters ago I caught an 18 inch brown on Jan. 3^rd with one of these!!
