Tying
Instructions:
- Tie
in thread and wrap back to tie in point.
- Form
dubbing or thread ball at tie in point.
- Tie
in microfibetts making sure they splay outward. Leave the tails long to add
stability to the fly.
- Wrap
thread to mid point of hook.
- Tie
in wing.
- Dub
abdomen with olive superfine dubbing
- Tie
in hackle at wing.
- Dub
thorax.
- Wrap
hackle forming several loops in front and behind wing.
- Tie
off hackle and trim.
- Whip
finish head.
- Trim
hackle barbs on underside of fly.
