Thread: Olive 8/0 Uni-Thread

Tail: White Microfibetts

Abdomen: Olive Superfine Dubbing

Wing: Gray Polypropylene

Hackle:  Lt. Blue Dun #16

Thorax:  Olive Superfine Dubbing

 Tying Instructions:

  1. Tie in thread and wrap back to tie in point.
  2. Form dubbing or thread ball at tie in point.
  3. Tie in microfibetts making sure they splay outward. Leave the tails long to add stability to the fly.
  4. Wrap thread to mid point of hook.
  5. Tie in wing.
  6. Dub abdomen with olive superfine dubbing
  7. Tie in hackle at wing.
  8. Dub thorax.
  9. Wrap hackle forming several loops in front and behind wing.
  10.  Tie off hackle and trim.
  11. Whip finish head.
  12. Trim hackle barbs on underside of fly.
